Basecamp Organization, a significant organization in Israel's challenging reality, was established following the events of October 7th and the ongoing struggles that the continuing war brings with it. Basecamp's mission is extensive, important, and challenging - to support teenagers affected by the situation in the country, whether they were evacuated from their homes or live in fire zones.
Being at the Heart of Meaningful Action
As mentioned, Basecamp set themselves the goal of creating hope and growth for the young generation affected by Israel’s complex security situation. The important and impressive work that the Basecamp team does on the ground, together with the critical need of teenagers and various communities, has led to significant expansion in their activities. Now, they need to quadruple their staff, recruiting youth instructors and mentors – good people who choose to impact youth and our reality in the country.
Recruitment Campaign - Immediate Response to Need
As part of the effort to continue growing, Basecamp launched a campaign to recruit young men and women. The campaign calls on people who feel the pain and want to take action, to be part of the change. The campaign invites them to join the mission, presenting videos created by Basecamp’s wonderful team, together with the talented photographer and editor Doral, with professional guidance and direction from Atara Arussi at Wito. These videos showcase the important and sensitive work of their activities, its positive impact on teenagers, and the need for additional people to join the mission.
