In the midst of a deepening economic crisis, we partnered withRiseup to tackle one significant question: How can we help people in Israel truly understand how the 2025 budget cuts will affect their lives?

From day one, it was clear to us – people don’t just need information. They need guidance. They’re looking for clarity, direction, someone to help them translate what’s written in the headlines into their own reality. That’s where we began building an entire initiative – one that combines practical tools with an ongoing, human experience.

It Started with One Simple Insight

Most people don’t really know how these changes will affect them personally. Everyone talks about rising taxes and the cost of living – but what does that mean for a young couple? For a family with three children? Together with Riseup, we developed a tool that would answer exactly these questions.

We built a personalized calculator that takes into account each user’s financial situation – income, expenses, family structure, and more.

The Goal Was Simple:

To present every family with a clear, personal, and accurate picture of how the 2025 budget cuts will actually affect them, so they know how to prepare accordingly.

Knowledge Isn't Everything:

Every user automatically received personalized insights, tips, and recommendations for practical actions that could save them thousands of shekels per year. Through a smart email series that guides users step by step – with simple explanations, actionable advice, and tools for daily financial management that actually makes a difference.

Anyone Who Knows Riseup Understands Their Mission

Before anything else, they do what they do so they could help the Israeli public grow financially, or as they put it – “to be on good terms with your money.”
When we look back at what happened, we see much more than numbers. We see a shift in mindset – people who better understand their situation and feel more prepared to deal with it.
The calculator became a significant tool in the public discourse about the 2025 budget cuts, and the community around it continues to grow and support people on their journey to smarter financial management.
This project reminded us once again what happens when you combine real value, accurate content, and an approach that truly sees the people behind the numbers.
